Eloise completed a Bachelor of Psychology with Honours from Griffith University and began her career as a counsellor in the not-for-profit sector for 7 years. She completed her Master in Clinical Psychology at Bond University and is undertaking the Clinical Psychology Registrar program.
Eloise has extensive experience in counselling, which enhances her Clinical Psychology training. She has experience working in Community settings and Private Practice and has experience working with a range of mental health concerns.
Eloise believes that therapy should feel safe and inviting. She believes the best therapeutic works stem from a good, trusting therapeutic relationship between the client and herself, and she prioritises this first and foremost. Eloise can sit beside her clients in times of distress and help process and make sense of their experiences, or she can provide skills and strategies to help individuals reduce feelings of stress, anxiety, and low mood.
Eloise believes in a holistic approach to therapy and believes in the usefulness of therapy to help people grow into their true selves. She maintains meaningful relationships with other professionals and often provides her clients with referrals to other professionals that would complement therapy to ensure that her clients are experiencing the best care.
